The goals of the HCAP program are:

  • Make it easier for people to start a health care career
  • Increase the number of health care assistants in health care facilities across Northern Health
  • Support our COVID-19 response at long-term care and assisted living facilities, by providing more staff

The collection of applicant aboriginal self-identification (ASI) information is completely voluntary. There will be absolutely no impact on employment or advancement opportunities if an applicant does not wish to respond. All information collected is completely confidential and protected by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act
